Renee Rockarts is a Peace Country singer/songwriter whose soulful, heartfelt music captures the rawness of life’s struggles, joys, and lessons learned along the way. Originally from Kelowna, BC, in 2005 she made her way to Grande Prairie in her 1987 Chevrolet Celebrity with very little money, a guitar and a dream. 

Over the past two decades, Renee has raised two beautiful young women, experienced love and loss, and found meaning in her music. Her songs are woven from the fabric of her experiences—a mix of hope, vulnerability and resilience. 
Picture a quiet moment after a long day, Renee with her guitar in hand, capturing her thoughts in a diary that soon becomes the heartbeat of her songs. These melodies are for the dreamers, the doers, and the ones who keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges life presents. Her music reflects not just her own journey but also the shared experiences of a close-knit community of friends-turned-family who have supported her every step of the way.

Never one to fit into a label, Renee’s music transcends genres, blending elements of alternative rock, blues, gospel/soul, country, folk, and even jazz. Each song tells a unique story, pushing the boundaries of what music can be while encouraging listeners to think beyond the expected.

Renee’s goal is to inspire others to rise above the obstacles they face, to believe in their potential, and to find the light in even the darkest moments. Whether uplifting or introspective, Renee’s music is always infused with hope.
